Despite having been raised in New England, Elizabeth didn't really like snow. It was fine for skiing, say, but she was quite happy staying inside in the warmth and watching the snow from her window.
One might accuse her of hiding, but she'd prefer to call it strategic concealment.
[[ooc: Open, although am slightly braindead from too many early mornings omg]]
omgwtfbbq?!
I'm covering the class this week, only I just went to the class notes I spent hours working on yesterday, only to find that it didn't save when we lost power thanks to massive thunderstorm (and I gave up and went to bed)
*killinates laptop*
So, it will be up, but late.
Sorry, guys.
One thing about sharing a room with your date was that dresses on occassions like this weren't a surprise.
Of course, in Elizabeth's case, she hadn't decided which dress to wear, so that was going to be a surprise for her too.
What do you mean, this is a bit last minute?
[[ooc: Mostly for the girlfriend, but open if anyone wants to drop in before hand]]
With damp hair haphazardly thrown in a pony-tail, Elizabeth was sitting crosslegged on Janet's bed, a legal pad in her hands and her laptop open on the bed beside her.
[[ooc: Open, although thread with
janet_fraiser is locked to her alone and will happen after anything else taking place.]]
Yawning widely, Elizabeth quietly slipped inside the dorm room and lowered her bag to the floor. Letting her eyes adjust to the dark, she peeled off her clothes as she crossed the room to slip into bed next to Janet.
[[ooc: *is back and exhausted and clinging to internet connection omg*
Open for the roomie when/if she's around for first thing. Open for all later in the morning]]
Marty woke up, desperate for a cigarette. She reached out for the packet on her bedside table only to discover that they weren't there.
Five minutes later, a fruitless search turned up no cigarettes and also no Pink Ladies jacket.
Marty resisted the urge to stop her foot as she delved back into the clothes, returning with a pink shirt that was perhaps a little too low cut and a little too tight. But hey! They were seniors now.
She fluffed up her curls confidently. Hopefully she'd be able to bum a cigarette off someone.
Elizabeth was currently waging war.
On her closet.
Having obviously grown since she had ended up in this body, last summer's clothes were starting to look pretty indecent on her.
And having procrastinated about it for long enough, Elizabeth had decided that she was going to sort out her clothes now.And then have a shopping trip to completely rebuild her wardrobe.
[[ooc: Door's open omg]]
Elizabeth was only really half awake, as she stretched out along the bed.
The fact that she still couldn't really remember what she and Janet were talking about on Monday still bothered her slightly; there had been the gym and then they'd ended back in the room. According to Peter, everyone had been telling each other the truth all day. In which case, it was probably a good thing that they'd all forgotten it.
There had been some sort of deja vu in the writing workshop and also when she'd brought lunch to Janet yesterday.
Other than that, things had been pretty normal; taking books back to the library, hanging out in the common room (although strangely the third floor one for once).
There was just the thing about submitting something photographic for the art fair. Veronica might have suggested shots of the cheerleaders - and she'd even got some of them flying yesterday. But there was the whole issue of Janet killing her. Which would so not be good.
Elizabeth turned to look at the clock and groaned slighly. It was far too early, she decided, curling back up again.
Elizabeth returned to her room happily ladden down with books. Lots and lots of books.
She'd also grabbed the post on the way up, and idly wondered what Janet had ordered from Logitech. She dropped the box on the bed and moved to the bookshelves, ready to reorder them.
